The FDIC Headquarters is located at 550 17th Street, NW in Washington, DC. There are several other building in the general vicinity of the Headquarters building, as well as the Virginia Square campus. The FDIC hosts events at both locations.
FDIC Employees are able to access all FDIC buildings in downtown Washington, D.C. Employees must have an official FDIC identification and parking pass. Visitors must adhere to all security regulations, including presenting a photo identification upon entering the building.

The L. William Seidman Center at Virginia Square is a multi-building complex. It has an office building with office space and training facilities for FDIC employees, and a residence building for students and instructors attending classes at the Center.
The Virginia Square site is located in an urban neighborhood on 9.5 acres of land at 3501 Fairfax Drive in Arlington, Virginia. It is a short drive from FDIC's headquarters in Washington, D.C. It is easily accessible by public transportation at the Virginia Square Metro stop on the Orange Line.
FDIC training facilities are located in the seven-story office building. An enclosed passageway links the office building to the student residence.
Amenities at the Seidman Center include a fitness center, business center, credit union, swimming pool, cafeteria, classrooms with state-of-the-art audio/visual resources, and a full-service residential student lodging facility.
There are numerous restaurants, service establishments and shopping in the surrounding area.
