The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation is hosting a webinar to promote the importance of having an insured bank account. This event will provide an opportunity for businesses and educators to collaborate on services needed to support and engage the unbanked and underbanked citizens in their communities.
According to the household survey for 2017, Virginia is 3.0% unbanked and 20.6% underbanked.
