Join the Milwaukee Alliance for Economic Inclusion (AEI) for a dynamic virtual session on expanding youth access to affordable banking. As a collaborative network committed to strengthening financial participation across the region, the Milwaukee AEI brings together partners for an energizing discussion on empowering the next generation.
The event will feature Bank On Greater Milwaukee—a coalition helping residents connect to low-cost accounts—and its efforts to increase youth-owned accounts. Attendees will also gain insights from the 2023 FDIC National Survey of Unbanked and Underbanked Households, learn about Wisconsin’s new financial education requirement for high school graduates starting in 2028, and participate in engaging roundtable discussions focused on building youth financial capability. This is an opportunity for financial institutions and community partners to discover practical strategies, share ideas, and help drive long-term economic stability for low- and moderate-income, young people across Milwaukee.
