FDIC hosts a webinar on Collaborating with Nebraska Financial Institutions for Disaster Recovery

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar for Nebraska bankers, local government, and community-based organizations to learn about activities that revitalize or stabilize designated disaster areas, as well potentially qualify for Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) consideration. Attendees will hear from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Volunteer Iowa, the U.S Small Business Administration (SBA) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to gain knowledge of resources available, as well as support recovery efforts. This webinar will provide insight into innovative approaches and industry practices for partnerships to support community development lending, services, and investment opportunities that may rebuild communities, as well as garner favorable CRA consideration.
