FDIC Hosts Developing a Community Development Corporation for San Luis Obispo County, CA

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a community development forum to encourage collaboration among key community stakeholders who desire to establish a community development corporation for San Luis Obispo County, CA. This forum will focus on identifying, developing and implementing strategies that will improve the financial stability of low- and moderate-income residents and small businesses by increasing access to non-predatory financial services.

The forum is designed to encourage collaboration between financial institutions, municipal service providers, and community-based organizations to meet community credit and services needs across San Luis Obispo County, in particular for Oceano, CA.
