New Employee Resources

Welcome to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and our New Employee Resources website. You are about to embark on an exciting new chapter in your career with the Federal Government. Whether you are entering civilian service for the first time, returning after a break in service, or transferring from another Federal agency, our goal is to facilitate an effective and seamless transition into our agency.

This website provides details and instructions to help you prepare to report to duty. It also offers valuable information about your employment with the FDIC, including an overview of the presentations you will receive during the New Employee Orientation, as well as the available benefits programs and eligibility depending on your appointment type. For more information on these topics, please visit the respective webpages linked below:

What Should You Do Next?

  3. Prepare any questions about employment with the FDIC, the benefits programs, and/or anything else that you would like to ask the appropriate presenter(s).
