The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will host a webinar to promote free tax preparation resources for low- and moderate-income (LMI) households, small business owners, students, and others. The event will also highlight opportunities to connect Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) clients to federally insured, affordable, and sustainable bank accounts and to expedite the receipt of tax refunds.
