Meet Our Team
It takes a dedicated, talented team to accomplish the FDIC mission — to maintain stability and public confidence in the nation's financial system. Our team is made up of thousands of dedicated professionals with a wide range of skills, experiences, and perspectives: bank examiners, compliance examiners, economists, financial analysts, IT professionals, administrative professionals, attorneys, and more. Take a detailed look at some of the key roles that are essential to accomplishing our mission.
Resolution Professionals
The FDIC is responsible for planning for the possibility that a bank – large or small – might fail. If it does, FDIC resolution professionals focus on planning for and managing the resolution of a failed bank by the FDIC as receiver. This requires a wide range of functions, such as franchise marketing, asset management, and asset sales while taking into account the potential impact on local communities, other financial institutions, and the U.S. economy. In the unlikely event of a bank failure, resolution professionals help the FDIC act quickly to ensure depositors get prompt access to their insured deposits.Employee Benefits
We take pride in offering employees highly competitive compensation, a generous benefits program and extensive career development opportunities.
