FDIC Makes Public August Enforcement Actions;
No Administrative Hearings Scheduled for October 2013
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) today released a list of orders of administrative enforcement actions taken against banks and individuals in August. No administrative hearings are scheduled for October 2013.
The FDIC issued a total of 34 orders, and five notices in August. The orders included: four consent orders; one removal and prohibition order; four civil money penalties; six section 19 orders; 18 terminations of consent orders and cease and desist orders; one adjudicated decision; and five notices.
