The FDIC Hosts Tax Season Partnership Opportunities with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program Webinar

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a virtual event to promote community development collaborations that expand access to free income tax preparation services for low- and moderate-income (LMI) households and small businesses. Representatives from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and FDIC will outline opportunities for banks, community-based organizations (CBOs), and others to support Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites. Moreover, Prepare and Prosper will present information on their VITA programming and discuss how bank partnerships serve a crucial role in the success of VITA sites.
