The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a small business lending forum to assess the credit and capital needs of small businesses in Virginia. The forum will highlight opportunities to strengthen connections between Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs), banks, Small Business Development Technical Centers (SBDTCs), and community-based stakeholders to support small businesses. Representatives will share and discuss approaches and resources to help expand access to affordable capital and credit to promote economically strong and healthy communities.
