FDIC Hosts Supporting Affordable and Workforce Housing Forum in North Carolina

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a community development forum focused on supporting affordable and workforce housing in North Carolina. The forum facilitates connections between banks, Community Investment Corporations, Community Development Financial Institutions, housing developers, non-profit organizations, housing finance agencies, local governments, and regional partners to explore strategies to increase the supply of affordable and workforce housing. Participants will discuss approaches such as community land trusts, public-private partnerships, and creative funding sources, and share resources to support housing development, lending, and preservation efforts across the state.
