FDIC Hosts a Community Development Workshop on Equity Equivalent Investments with Nonprofit CDFIs

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) will host a webinar to support the development of Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)-qualifying investment partnerships with nonprofit community development financial institutions (CDFIs). The event will highlight equity equivalent investments (EQ2s) as a tool to address community development needs, showcase diverse approaches to leverage investment capital, and highlight strategies to expand CRA investments to meet community credit needs. In addition, participants will discuss CRA opportunities and build connections to support new partnerships in Montana, Utah, and Wyoming.
