    Chiwon Yom is a Senior Economist for the FDIC. She received her PhD from the University of California at Irvine and her BS from the University of California at Berkeley. She began working at the FDIC in September of 2001. Her research interests include bank performance and early warning models, relationship lending, and credit availability.
