Lynn Shibut is a Senior Economist. She began her career with the FDIC in January of 1996. Prior to that she was employed by the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC) and the Federal Saving and Loan Insurance Corporation (FSLIC). Ms. Shibut obtained her BA in Economics at William and Mary. Areas of research interests include bank failure, bank resolution, prompt corrective action, commercial lending.
