Center for Financial Research
The FDIC established the Center for Financial Research (CFR) to promote research on topics important to the FDIC mission of deposit insurance, bank supervision, and resolution of failed financial institutions. The CFR research programs follow banking industry developments, risk measurement and management methods, regulatory policy, and related topics.
