On April 27, 2012 InterBank fsb was closed by Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. The FDIC was named Receiver. Great Southern Bank, Reeds Spring, MO acquired all deposit accounts.
The FDIC as Receiver for InterBank fsb, Maple Grove, MN has taken all actions necessary to terminate the Receivership Estate. The Receiver published a legal notice of intent to terminate the receivership on September 10, 2018 and has made all dividend distributions required by law.
Effective December 01, 2018, the Receiver was discharged and the Receivership Estate was terminated and ceased existence as a legal entity.

About Great Southern Bank
All deposit accounts, including brokered deposits, were transferred to Great Southern Bank, Reeds Spring, MO ("assuming institution"). Former InterBank fsb locations reopened as branches of Great Southern Bank.
Your transferred deposits were separately insured from any accounts you may have already had at Great Southern Bank for at least six months after the failure of InterBank fsb.
You may withdraw your funds from any transferred account without an early withdrawal penalty until you enter into a new deposit agreement with Great Southern Bank as long as the deposits are not pledged as collateral for loans.
