Subject: Community Reinvestment -- RIN 3064-AC50
I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250
million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment
Act. This policy would reduce lending, investments and services in
low-income communities.
Further more as banks get subsidized by the Fed through easy money
policies to bail them out if necessary the banks should have to
contribute a premium for this facility and invest more money in Asian
communities, specially the ones being targeted and profiled under the
Patriot Act. These communities are always being harassed, stooped, and
are unable to travel by air for fear of being taken away by homeland
security or other enforcement agencies. Thats called being terrified.
Thank you.
