I strongly oppose the proposed rule changes in the Community
Reinvestment Act (RIN 3064-AC50). This action will do harm to rural
communities. : It is very disturbing to learn of the proposed changes
which among other things, if adopted, will raise the threshold for full
CRA compliance from $250. million to $1 billion. This would devastate
the affordable housing market, especially in rural communities, since
developers of affordable housing would have fewer resources available to
them. Please reconsider the damaging consequences of enacting these
changes.
