I strongly oppose the proposed rule changes in the Community
Reinvestment Act (RIN 3064-AC50). This action will do harm to rural
communities. : As a former banker (20+ years) I can tell you that the
CRA was the single greatest incentive encouraging banks to "do their
duty" in the communities they served. To curtail the CRA is a big
mistake.
