OEEO Introduces RESET

RESET is the FDIC’s new proactive and people-centered approach to resolving Equal Employment Opportunity concerns.

What does RESET stand for?

Resolve issues early

Engage in open dialogue

Support one another

Empower positive change

Transform our workplace and RESET workplace relationships following allegations of discrimination and/or harassment

Who Might Need a RESET?

RESET is for employees participating at any stage of the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) process.  If you have a workplace conflict or concern that you believe is related to your race, sex, pregnancy, national origin, religion, age (over 40), or disability, RESET might be for you!

How does RESET work?

Once an employee raises an EEO concern with an EEO Counselor, the RESET program provides access to:

Proactive early conflict resolution

Confidential, voluntary conversations with trained neutral facilitators

A neutral space to be heard, transform, and restore workplace relationships

Faster, more flexible resolution with no lengthy procedures or formal processes

A chance to express your perspective and collaborate on solutions

How will RESET help me?

With RESET, you have options.  Together, we can change how to approach conflict and help to transform the workplace at the FDIC.

If you are in need of a RESET, contact the OEEO within 45 days of an EEO workplace incident at RESET@fdic.gov.

If your workplace dispute is not EEO related, please contact the ADR Team at ADR@fdic.gov.
