Re: RIN 3064-AC50

To Whom It May Concern - regarding RIN 3064-AC50:

I strongly oppose the proposed rule changing the Community Reinvestment Act regulations. In my opinion, it will really undermine low and moderate income communities. Please do not adopt this rule. If CRA is cut there would be only a ONE BANK in Iowa required to participate in affirmative lending programs to low and moderate income citizens either through direct services or via community based organizations. Some community minded banks would still assist low and moderate income citizens while others would likely refocus their energies on other money making business ventures. CRA is a tool which assists with the development of affordable housing and helps ensure equal access to credit not just for the few, not just for the powerful, but to Americans of every race, ethnicity and income level.

Respectfully,

Barbara A. Rouse
Des Moines, Iowa
