- The FDIC's Compliance Examination Handbook has been revised. The new handbook covers
the FDIC's risk-focused policies and procedures in effect as of June 2006 for compliance
examinations. It also includes revised CRA examination procedures and performance evaluations.
- A description of the handbook's organization and content is attached.
- The revised handbook will be available in electronic format only. The handbook can be accessed
on the FDIC's Web site, free of charge, at
http://www.fdic.gov/regulations/compliance/handbook/index.html. A CD-ROM will be sent to all
handbook subscribers.
- Originally released in 1996, the handbook was last revised in 1999.
