Summary of Deposits Survey Filing for June 30, 2005

Summary: All FDIC-insured institutions with branch offices are required to submit their annual Summary of Deposits surveys as of June 30. The SOD survey is due by July 30, 2005; however, electronic filers have until August 15, 2005, to submit their survey.

Highlights:

  • Forms and instructions will not be mailed out automatically for the 2005 survey; however, instructions, contact information, survey facsimiles and the FDIC's Interactive SOD survey Web site filing option can be found at https://banks.data.fdic.gov/bankfind-suite/SOD.
  • Financial institutions are strongly encouraged to file their survey electronically, and those who do so have an extra 15 days to file.
  • There are two electronic filing options that bankers have this year: using software provided by vendors that have been certified by EDS or using the FDIC's interactive SOD survey Web site filing option.
  • EDS-certified vendors are DBI Financial Systems, Inc. (1-800-774-3279), Fidelity Regulatory Solutions (1-800-825-3772), FRS Global Financial Reporting (704-501-5619), and Jack Henry and Associates, Inc. (1-800-688-9191).
  • Please review your branch data before June 30, 2005. You can view your latest branch information at www2.fdic.gov/idasp. Submit changes with your survey.
