SUBJECT: St. Genevieve Bank & Trust - Fictitious Checks

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has learned that fictitious cashier's checks are in circulation. The checks bear the name St. Genevieve Bank & Trust, St. Genevieve, MO 63670. The St. Genevieve Bank & Trust does not exist. The routing number used on the checks, 08190356, is assigned to the Bank of Ste. Genevieve, Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, a legitimate bank. A copy of one of the fictitious checks is attached for your information.
