SUBJECT: Missing Money Orders

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has been informed by Peoples State Bank, Many, Louisiana, that 1,200 of the bank's money orders have been stolen while in transit from the printer to the bank. Circulation may be widespread. A copy of one of the bank's money orders is attached for your information. The bank's money orders are marked "Issued by Integrated Payment Systems, Inc., Englewood, Colorado." Financial institutions can confirm the validity of money orders or checks marked "Issued by Integrated Payment Systems, Inc., Englewood, Colorado," by calling 1-800-223-7520 and following the guided menu. The missing money orders are numbered as follows:

  • 719579900 through 719579999
  • 719580500 through 719580799
  • 719580900 through 719581699
