TO: CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
SUBJECT: Certified Bankers Note

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) has alerted us to the circulation of instruments entitled "Certified Bankers Notes." The drawer of the instrument is shown as "Arvey D. Drown, Trustee," and the instrument is described as being drawn on "Special Private Funds, Treasurer and Comptroller of Currency Co-Assign, Funds Secured by Lien No: 5382026." A copy of such an instrument is attached for your information.

The OCC has advised us that these instruments are deemed to be without financial value. Please forward any information concerning these instruments to the FDIC's Special Activities Section, 550 17th Street, N.W., Room F-612, Washington, D.C. 20429.
