Subject: CRA Comment

Dear Robert E. Feldman:

I would like to congratulate the entire FDIC team on recent improvements in
the overall regulatory framework and the level of communication between the
FDIC and the member banks.

I do highly support increasing the threshold for CRA reviews as it relates
to "large" banks. It is currently proposed to raise the size factor to
institutions over $500 million. I would support this being raised all the
way to $1 billion. There are many non-complex, community banks in the $500
million to $1 billion asset range that probably do way more for the
furtherance of their local communities.
