Subject: community reinvestment -- rin 3064-ac50

The Community Reinvestment Act is a critical component to our community’s affordable housing and community development solutions. We oppose any increase to the threshold of what is considered to be small bank. We are located in a smaller municipality in Massachusetts. We provide homebuyer counseling and downpayment assistance to low and moderate income households to allow them to become homebuyers. More than half of our lending partners would likely discontinue participation in our programs under the proposed FDIC rule. We strongly urge FDIC to withdraw this proposed rule.
