Subject: Assessment Credit

In reviewing the one-time assessment credit report for The Bank of Kentucky (certificate number 33022) I noticed that the Bank was not currently given the credit for the Deposit base of the Peoples Bank of Northern Kentucky (certificate number 33541). On November 22, 2002 The Bank of Kentucky purchased all of the Deposits and branches, and substantially all the banking assets, of the Peoples Bank of Northern Kentucky. Because of substantial litigation at the Peoples Bank of Northern Kentucky not all loans could be purchased. Immediately after the purchase the Peoples Bank of Northern Kentucky dropped its banking charter. As a result of the Bank of Kentucky acquiring all the deposit base of the Peoples Bank of Northern Kentucky I would think that we should be entitled to the assessment credit attributable to the Peoples Bank of Northern Kentucky.

Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
