Gentlemen:

I write to urge you to protect North Carolina's IOLTA program by continuing to provide full FDIC insurance coverage of IOLTA accounts.  The funds made available through the IOLTA program have become an essential element of insuring that poor North Carolinians have access to civil legal assistance and other essential legal education and services.  Loss of these funds would be devastating.

Sincerely,

Evan Lewis
