I strongly oppose the proposed rule changes in the Community Reinvestment Act (RIN 3064-AC50). This action will do harm to rural communities. : I have spent 10 years in trying to improve educational and economical conditions in central Appalachia. The rule changes in the CRA act will further permit low socioeconomic status .Many of these people are trying to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. They need help and the changes permits the financial sector(namely banks) cut back on the much needed assistance.
