Dear Mr. Feldman,

I am writing to you to let you know that I am in favor of increasing the small bank threshold from $250 million to $1 billion. I believe it will help relieve some of the regulatory burdens for banks. I particularly like the idea of expanding the definition of community development to encompass a broader range of activities in rural areas. Since part of our market area includes rural areas, we could possibly receive more credit for some of our involvement in these communities. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

R. Eugene McGonigle
