I oppose the FDIC's proposal to allow banks with assets above $250 million to be examined as small banks under the Community Reinvestment Act. I strongly feel that minority and low-income persons would be adversely affected by such a change,especially, since greater efforts are needed to create a larger stock of affordable housing.
