I oppose any dilution in the CRA testing of financial institutions that will allow them to avoid their social obligation to invest in their lending areas. In our world of preserving affordable housing much of the equity comes from banks who need to find investment vehicles in their communities. Without this equity, companies like ours would be less able to rehabilitate America's aging stock of affordable housing without further government subsidies.
