Notice of proposed rulemaking

Summary: The bank regulatory agencies request comment on a proposal to revise the risk-based capital requirements that generally apply to the largest, most internationally active banking organizations.  The proposal would substantially simplify the framework, better align minimum requirements with risk and improve the consistency and transparency of requirements across U.S. banking organizations. All other banking organizations can elect this framework.
