The Consumer Research Symposium, hosted by the FDIC’s Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection, facilitates a discussion of the newest research in consumer finance among academics, financial regulators, and the private sector.
Registration is now open for the 12th Symposium, which will be held on March 15, 2024. Registration will close on February 23, 2024. The event will take place in the Sheila C. Bair Auditorium at the FDIC L. William Seidman Center, located at 3501 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia.
This year’s Symposium will feature a Distinguished Guest Lecture from Professor Annamaria Lusardi of Stanford University: “The Importance of Financial Literacy.” Professor Lusardi is a Senior Fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research and Director of the Financial Freedom Initiative at Stanford University.
