Community Affairs Specialist Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Dallas Regional Office

John joined the FDIC in 2020. He is responsible of outreach, education, and technical assistance to community-based organizations, academic researchers, government officials, bankers, lenders, and regulatory agencies on credit issues, the effectiveness of reinvestment policies and economic inclusion initiatives in various territories in the state of Texas. Prior to the FDIC, John held various roles based in Texas, as a Loan Specialist at the US Small Business Administration, an Account Manager in a global ATM management company, and an Account Executive at the OPEX Corporation, a mailroom automation equipment company. He also worked in two community banks in the state of Florida. John has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras and is a Certified Scrum Master.
