Jacqueline Rudas Steller is the Special Assistant to the Deputy Director for Consumer and Community Affairs at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. In this role, Ms. Steller advises and provides dedicated support in the areas of strategic planning, project management, policy, and communications. Ms. Steller led the update of the FDIC Economic Inclusion Strategic Plan and oversees Juntos FDIC (Together FDIC), a pilot program that leverages FDIC employees and the Money Smart financial education program to support Hispanic serving organizations.
Prior to joining the FDIC, Ms. Steller identified financial crime trends and methodologies to inform national security priorities as a senior policy advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Ms. Steller also served as a senior program examiner at the Office of Management and Budget where she oversaw a portfolio of over $3 billion in federal funding.
Ms. Steller, a Presidential Management Fellow alum, has a Master’s in Public Administration from New York University's Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and previously worked in the private sector as a certified public accountant.
