Sarah Wolff

Ms. Sarah Wolff is an experienced researcher with expertise in consumer finance, lending policy, and economic inclusion. Her areas of focus include consumer financial products, financial challenges facing low- and moderate-income communities, and mortgage lending. Ms. Wolff manages multiple projects as a Senior Associate at Abt, including supporting the Federal Housing Finance Agency in implementing their Duty to Serve regulation and conducting research on consumer financial decision-making and developing financial education tools for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. She has expertise in project management, conducting and managing quantitative and qualitative research, evaluating lending patterns, and assessing access to credit for underserved borrowers and communities of color. Ms. Wolff is familiar with loan and account products and the challenges low- and moderate-income consumers face in accessing responsible financial products from her prior roles at Self-Help, one of the nation’s largest community development financial institutions, and the Center for Responsible Lending.

She holds a Master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelors of Engineering degree from Duke University.
