Jayme Brown

Jayme Brown serves as the Director for the Community and Supportive Services Division where she oversees the implementation of the Self-Sufficiency programs for HUD's Office of Public and Indian Housing. Ms. Brown serves as lead for HUD's FY22-26 Strategic Plan Objective 1:C, which focuses on promoting equitable community development that generates wealth-building for underserved communities, particularly for communities of color. She also represents the Agency on several IPC and Interagency workgroups. Prior to working for HUD, Jayme worked as an Environmental Protection Specialist at the Environmental Protection Agency where she led EPA's Ports Initiative focused on improving the health outcomes of low-income communities near ports. Ms. Brown obtained Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Washington.
