Michelle Huddleston is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Commercial Bank, headquartered in Harrogate, Tennessee. Michelle started with Commercial Bank in 1994, serving as Customer Service Supervisor and Internal Auditor prior to becoming COO in 2001. Commercial Bank has 22 branches and 1 Loan Production Office in Kentucky and Tennessee with assets of just under $1 billion. Michelle is responsible for the overall operations and compliance of the bank. She serves as Bank Secrecy Act Officer; Chairman of the Bank’s Product Review and Development Committee; Chairman of the Compliance Committee; member of the Information Technology Steering Committee; member of the Asset Liability Committee; member of Risk Management Committee and member of the Bank’s Ethics Committee. During her 30 years of banking, Michelle has also been employed by First Century Bank, Tazewell, TN and Farmer’s Capital Holding Company in Frankfort, Kentucky where she served in Internal Audit and Compliance Review. She has also served on the Board of Directors for TACHA (Tennessee Automated Clearing House Association); TACHA Rules and Operations Committee and became an AAP (Accredited ACH Professional) in 2010.
Michelle received her BS Degree from Lincoln Memorial University where she was inducted in 2010 to the LMU Professional Hall of Fame. Michelle also received the 2016 Mary Mildred Sullivan Civic Award during the Spring Commencement at LMU. She is very active in the communities the bank serves and believes in giving back to the community. She has served on the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Planning Committee for over 10 years and was recognized last year for her fundraising efforts in Claiborne County which total of 1.5 million to date. Michelle served on the Claiborne County Board of Education for 16 years, with a majority of that time spent as Chairman or Vice Chairman Leadership roles. She is currently a member of the LMU Women of Service and is serving as the Community Service Director of the local Girl Scout Council. Michelle lives in Harrogate with her husband, Scott and their daughter, Jaymin.
