Cynthia Balser (Cindy) joined Key Bank in June 1984 and is currently Senior Vice President and Group Manager of Consumer Credit. Ms. Balser is responsible for the profitable management of Key’s Consumer, Private Banking, and Community Development credit products.
In her current role, Cindy is responsible for product management and development, portfolio management, and serving as First Line of Defense for Consumer Credit, while striking a balance between returns and being responsible in the products delivered to the client. Previous positions both within and prior to coming to Key have included sales and operations management of the Mortgage line of business, Sales Manager in Private Banking, and Cleveland Market Area Retail leader for the Retail Private Banking group. Cindy currently chairs the Consumer Bankers Association Home Equity Committee and was a 2014 YWCA Women of Professional Excellence recipient.
Cindy earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Baldwin Wallace College in Accounting and her Master’s Degree from Case Western University in Marketing.
