Matt Homer is a Policy Analyst in the Supervisory Policy Branch of the FDIC's Division of Depositor and Consumer Protection. In this capacity he monitors and analyzes a number of policy topics, including mobile financial services, student lending, and other regulatory and consumer finance issues. Prior to joining the FDIC Matt was a Strategy Consultant at Deloitte Consulting where he worked with clients in the financial services industry on issues related to financial regulatory reform. Matt also previously worked as a policy analyst for The Century Foundation, a New York City based think tank, where he published policy analysis and recommendations on a variety of domestic and international issues. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Utah with B.A. degrees in economics and international studies. Matt also received a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where he served as the Executive Managing Editor of the Kennedy School Review.
