Subject: Proposed Rule on Customer Identification Program

I feel that the Bank Secrecy Act and the USA Patriot Act is comprehensive enough without adding a new section. We already have a written policy about BSA. All banks should he checking identification and the OFAC list when opening a new account. What do you hope to gain other than more paperwork and written policies?

Community banks such as ours are not at risk for terrorist and money launderers like large banks in metropolitan areas. There would be the place for more regulations. A small community would have a hardship by this proposed rule. This regulation is not meaningful to all banks and areas of the country

Sincerely,

Sue O'Brien, Auditor

Parsons, KS
