ATTN: Comments/OES

We understand the need for control on any assets of terrorists. However, to maintain common sense in application of any regulation is critical. To retain records for 5 years is excessive in relation to a more normal 2 year record retention requirement. In our small communities, we know our customers and new customers. To simply retain account application information, without copies of drivers licenses and other identification, should be a sufficient compliance with the purpose and intent of the regulation.

Sincerely,
