Executive Secretary, Attention: Comments/OES
Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
550 17th Street, N.W.
Washington, DC 20429

Dear Sir:

On Tuesday, September 3rd, we received FIL-92-2002 inviting us to comment on the "Proposed Rule on Customer Identification Program" on or before September 6, 2002. This is ridiculous. Why even ask us to comment if we cannot have adequate time to do so?

We would be happy to comment and provide input if given an adequate amount of time. Please let us know if the deadline is extended.

Sincerely,

Ronald L. Hansen
President & CEO
