Subject: Model Privacy Form

I do not see very much difference at all in the Privacy Notice that we currently have and the model notice proposed.  I think that if this rule is made final, we will have to scrap all current notices and prepare new ones for mailing.  I am sure the forms vendors are loving this, but it is just another undue burden on the banking industry.  I would be acceptable to the new model form if concessions were made in the annual notice requirement.  I think that it is ridiculous to continue bombarding our customer base with the same notice every year, when the majority of them will not read it.  That is one of the most unnecessary costs that our bank has to pay.
