Subject: Proccessing of Deposit Accounts and Insurance Determination Modernization

This rule holds high cost with possile limited benefits. Unless the benefits of this rule will be high I don't believe it's worth the cost. Most institutions already havecut off times in place. At TCF (where I'm employed) the cut off time for deposits for the current business day is 3pm. This I believe is a pretty reasonable time frame. However, I can understand the need to get people their insured money in the event of a failure of the financial institution. It may be wise to focus only on certain institutions where updated systems are needed. Thus, maybe the proposed rule should be modified to include lower cost and focus on certain financial institutions.
