Subject: Brokered Deposits

Brokered Deposits are a key funding source for community banks and should be considered so going forward.  The consideration of increasing the level of premium for these deposits would be very detrimental to all community banks not providing a level playing field as we compete with the regional and national in scope banks.  Please reconsider your position on increasing the premiums on brokered deposits.
